    Micah,
It looks like we're the last two standing. I live in Evergreen so if you are still interesting in riding I'll give it a go with you. If you'd rather wait for another day I completely understand. We didn't get that much rain last night be we did get 14" of snow last weekend!

If a local says the trails are okay to ride, I'm there. On my way....

I am still in! I have actually ridden this trail IN the pouring rain (accidentally of course) and it was fine! if we get stuck in the mud and have to hike a bike out, its all part of the adventure! LOL!

Micah, it's 10:32 and pretty wet up here in Golden. Like Janet, I'm going to hope for drier trails on the next ride. Apologies for the late cancel; I was *so* looking forward to meeting everyone!

Sorry to bailout too, but I've got some stomach bug and this weather is not getting me motivated. Will try to make Lair o the Bear or Buffalo.

Really wanted to come, but babysitting not working out! Ugh. Hoping Buffalo creek works out for us- my favorite area!

I think I'll skip this and wait for it to dry out more. Catch you all another time - have a great ride!

Due to the recent snowstorm please be prepared for wet & muddy conditions. We will have to play how far up we go by ear! See you all Saturday!

Micah, can I invite some other ladies from LMB? They were also trying to organize some female only rides.

I'm ok with the 2+ hrs.

Oh and depending on what works for everyone, if we do the too long trail to Bergen peak its going to be a long ride- 2+ hours to do the whole loop. If we do just the lower loops then it would be right about an hour or even under. I am down for either.

    Hi Tina,
The first part of this loop "painter pause" to "founders trail" to "meadow view trail" is not technically difficult really at all and has a great climbing rate. If we decide to keep going onto the "too long" trail instead of looping the "meadow view" then the climb and the technical gets a little tougher. The technical stuff is mostly in sections (like rock outcroppings) that I will be attempting sometimes and walking over others. Other than these small rock sections it is smooth dirt climbing through the trees. The downhill is the same way. There are no sections to steep and again just little rock outcroppings and A few switchbacks. The lower part of meadow view trail (on the way down) is a fun flowy single track and then breaks off to a double track at the "sleepy s' trail that anyone can go fast on! I attached the trail map link as well and it has mileage!
