Spring Paddlefest

Meet your fellow paddlers in time for the summer paddling season!

The Spring Paddlefest will take place at Chatfield Reservoir on Sunday May 3rd. This is an opportunity to get together and discuss trips, events, equipment, skills, or just get out on the water.

Thinking about upcoming trips, or want to attend one that's already scheduled? We'll be discussing our upcoming plans for summer, including demonstrations on how to pack your boat and what to bring for our beginners overnight trips.

Looking to sell your old boats/ gear? Bring it down! The reservoir is a perfect location for people to try before they buy, and they can see just how good your old boat really is.

Bring your boats, bring your friends, and come get ready for summer paddling.

Location: Chatfield Reservoir in the lagoon east of the marina.

Park in the overflow lot for trailers. Unless pulling a trailer please use one of the regular parking spaces along the edges.

Time: 10am – 2pm

Cost: $2 – the money helps offset the cost of hosting the Meetup.

I'll have an outfitters wing set up on the beach to give us some shade. Bring your own lawn chair. If anyone wants to bring a grill, let me know. I'll have extra boats on hand, but the more the merrier.
