Chatfield Reservoir - Flatwater Social Paddle

This is an opportunity to dust off boats and work out any kinks for the upcoming season. All types of boats are welcome.

We'll meet at the Jetski beach just north of the swim beach around 9:00am, launching at 9:30. A google map showing the beach can be found at

We'll paddle to the southern end of the reservoir, play in the current of the South Platte, before returning back to the Jetski beach. Energetic paddlers are welcome to do a lap around the reservoir.

This is a good opportunity to meet fellow paddlers and discuss plans for the upcoming season.

Bring your boat, paddle, PFD and come have fun.

I'll like to attend, but looking at my timetable, I see that I would miss my free train to nirvana.
Sheldon Cooper would be so happy if he could go.

Is anyone bringing an extra kayak that Diana Franko could borrow? I have seen in other postings that some people do have more than one boat of different sorts.

Good point Eric. However, I disagree on #1) If borrowed equipment is lost or damaged, the borrower is/should be responsible for repair or replacement.
