The temps along the Front Range are already showing us signs of the heat we remember from last summer. But this summer our late snowpack will give us all a chance to beat the heat while meeting new friends and sharing a cool adventure together. Join CityWild for a wild ride down the most popular section of the Arkansas River near Buena Vista. Enjoy a full day of whitewater through Brown's Canyon with our experienced guides. We'll pause for a tasty lunch, included in the special rate for this full day adventure.
If you haven't experienced a trip down the Arkansas, this is the section and the company to share with friends for the best of everything; pre-water instruction, then a mild-water intro to get ready for the whitewater action in the Canyon. These are paddle rafts so everyone shares in the action with expert instruction from our raft guide.
We're offering this at a special rate for our Meetup, only $70 for the full day, which is $20 off the standard fare, and at the best time of the season for paddling conditions. You may pay the full $70 now or put down $35 deposit to save a place.
We need eight people for the raft, so connect with another Meetup member here or invite friends to join you. This special deal is only available for this date through May 26, so talk it up now and reserve your space while this deal lasts.
Meetup has limitations on directions. They like physical addresses, and river access points don't have mailboxes. We will provide more details as this Meetup is confirmed but this link will give you a good idea of the general area, and this zooms in to our meeting space on the east side of the Arkansas River over Fisherman's Bridge.
Here's a link to our site so you can check out CityWild and pay through the site for our June 2 date. Our rafting trips on the Arkansas and through Denver on the South Platte, and new this year, on Clear Creek near Golden, support inner city youth development opportunities through outdoor adventure. Learn more at our website and we'll see you on the river.
