Welcome to our adventurous group of paddlers. We enjoy hitting the lakes, rivers, ponds, and oceans (ok... the nearest ocean may be a little far). We enjoy meeting other local kayakers, canoeists, and rafters and after a good time getting wet grabbing some grub and a beverage.

We are a diverse group of people with a variety of skill levels from the novice to the web-footed obsessed and everyone in between. We want you to have a good time. Invites will list difficulty level and boat type. Safety first, if you are a novice please don't start with a class 5 (unless you are aquaboy or aquagirl, we may make some exceptions in that case). Class 5 white water rafting in an 8 man blow up is very different than in a canoe or a single 18 ft fiber glass kayak. If you want to learn a new skill suggest a meet up. ...again safety first.

A few things to know about this ducky-crew.

We enjoy a spending time together. For the safety of all attending our events they are generally for grown ups (18 and older).

We appreciate the importance of family, so, time to time have family friendly events. The organizer will identify that in the invite so your little muffins can come splash in the water with us. All parental Units (PUs) are responsible for their offspring units (ou's) and any attached friends of ou's.

Many of us don't have our own people powered water vehicles.   We will have events where there are some available for rent. If the event is not where rentals are at the location, then, please acquire (rent/borrow) or arrange your paddle vehicle and all needed equipment to arrive with you. This will take some preplanning. You will have a great time if you are prepared.

In the unlikely event something unforeseeable happens we will make every attempt to rescue a paddler who comes with us and ends up in trouble. However, we are all here to have fun. Please be considerate  take care of yourself by having and wearing your safety equipment. Remember you are paddling at your own risk.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
