I am moving to Denver at the end of July and have an apartment in Denver. Unfortunately, I need to find a place to store by Eddyline Sea Kayak (17 ft) . Any suggestions as to where I could store the kayak since it will not fit in my apartment.
Thanks Adrian |

After surveying many storage units when I moved here, I settled on Le Mouton (http://lemoutonbusine...

Another possibility is to store the kayak close to wherever you will usually paddle. I've seen a fairly new storage facility near C470 and South Platte, close to Chatfield Reservoir. Depending whether your apartment is actually in Denver or in the 'burbs, there may be locations that are more convenient to your paddling venues.
There are also portable storage lockers (rentals) that the company moves to wherever you live. Apartment managers may prohibit this, but it's worth asking yours to find out if this is possible in your case. I've heard of a few (very few) people who simply keep their kayaks on their vehicle rooftops all season, locked of course. In this high-UV region, I would not recommend this though you might need to do so in the short term. If the parking spot is a reserved carport space, it would at least cut down on the UV exposure. But since your photo looks like it was taken in AZ or southern CA, you probably already know about too much sun! |
