2009 Missouri RIver 340 Race

I posted first two articles on this year MR340 race in my fitness paddling blog:

It was the 4th year of this race (340 miles on the Missouri River from Kansas City to St Charles in less than 88 hours).

MR340 started in 2006 with just 15 boats and this year we had 271 boats at the Kaw Point. 437 racers in in solo, tandem and team divisions. Together with organizers, volunteers, safety boats, and land crew probably more than 1000 people participated.
