LTPC Meeting - Exhibition Night & CCCC Competition Image Selection

LTPC will hold the 1st Quarter Colorado Council of Camera Clubs (CCCC) Competition selection process Monday night, February 4, 2013. We will be reviewing member entries and voting on the images to be submitted to the CCCC 1st Quarter Competition to be held in March. The images selected by popular vote, by those in attendance at the meeting on Monday night, will be submitted to CCCC and will compete with images submitted by other CCCC member clubs at the 1st Quarter Competition. It is a great opportunity to submit your best work for consideration. There is no entry fee for LTPC members (and consequently no cash awards), however, spiffy CCCC Certificates are awarded in several categories.

In order to submit your images for the competition use the form/link on the LTPC site (same as for exhibitions) and indicate the submittal is for the CCCC 1st Quarter Competition. CCCC has file size and format regulations, and size regulations for prints. I brief summary of the requirements follows.

Digital max. size; 500 KB jpg file, 1024 pixels wide, 768 pixels high.

Please name digital files with last name first, first name, image name, and category (Color or Monochrome) i.e. last name_first name_image name_C.jpg

Prints: min. 11x14, max. 16x20 on mount-unframed.

LTPC will accept up to 8 images (print, digital, or combination) for consideration, however, only 4 images per maker can be submitted to the CCCC Competition.

The full CCCC information is available on their website at:

Following the competition we will be discussing and voting on updated bylaws. I will forward information specific to bylaws in a separate email prior to the meeting.

Visit the Lone Tree Photo Club Website for a complete schedule and submission guidelines.

We had so many good submissions for the 1st Quarter. I'm looking forward to seeing the actual winners!
