What Others are Saying about George Jardine's Workshops:

I have nothing but praises for George Jardine and his Lightroom workshop. Having just purchased the Lightroom software, I was totally in the dark at the beginning of the class. George was so easy to follow and his presentation was excellent. I learned so much and look forward to taking another one of his modules. ~ Emelyn Morris-Sayre

I love George Jardine, not only is great photographer, but an awesome teacher as well! At his last Lightroom workshop, I learned so much that helped my work flow process, and the information he shared with us gave a boost to my Stock Photography business! His workshops are fun and entertaining, and shares his stash of yummy treats! George is FANTASTIC! ~ Teri Virbickis

“Last fall I took George’s Lightroom workshops covering the modules of Lightroom 4. I could not believe there was so much to learn in the library module on how to catalogue photos, key wording, etc. I will have to go back and review the DVD’s that were given and the one’s that I also bought so that I could further gain from his great instruction. I have been using Lightroom since it was initially introduced but found that there were many things I did not use that were there for me the whole time. I am now able to use the develop module to further enhance my photos to get the results that I want to get. Truthfully, I wasn’t getting the results that I wanted, and when I made the changes that were taught in class it made such a big difference! There are certain things I do now, after this class, in the Develop module that I never did prior to taking the class. Conversely there are things that I was doing that I would never do now! I highly recommend taking all modules that George teaches.” ~Nona Radin

Very informative, not completely what I was expecting. But still well worth the time and money. George is an excellent instructor.

Very impressed with the seminar as a whole; well executed; George held forth with smoothness and obvious depth. Much was a bit over my head, but I felt privileged to be a part.Appreciate everyone who had a part.

HEADS UP EVERYONE!!! There is a swim meet near the civic center today and the parking lot is packed. You can park on the street, but it's going to be a busy area today. Get here early if you can.

I am on crutches. Is there an easy way to get to the classroom for me?

I think the class we be on the lower level. If I'm not mistaken there is outside door on the lower level

There's an elevator on the inside so not a problem I would park on the upper level to take othe elevator down to the lower level

Is there anyplace specific we're supposed to (or not supposed to) park?

    June 7, 2013

    • Teri

Don't park in the street. You will definitely get a ticket if you do. There should be enough parking spaces in the Civic Center lot.

I have Lightroom 3 installed on my laptop but have not used the software very much (I use Photoshop CS4 for most of my image processing but also need to learn Lightroom). I have not attended George Jardine's workshop(s) in the past. Since I have not attended George's "Modules of Lightroom 4" or any other Lightroom workshops, will I be at a disadvantage in understanding his "Preparing Your Images for Output"?

Have Lightroom 3 on iMac. Will not bring a computer.

I just sent an email with this question....this may be the better place to ask. :)

The discription says to come prepared to follow along on your own computer. I don't have a lap top. I'm very interested in this subject and I'm wondering if the class would still be benificial with out being able to follow on my own computer.

Tanya, I have others take George's classes who were in the same situation as you. They reported enjoying and learning from the class because they paid better attention to what was being said, rather than getting lost on the computer. Hope this helps!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
