2013 Food & Film Festival

Holistic Health Club will kickoff our Vegetarian Awareness Film Festival on October 1st in the Fireside Lounge & Quad Area. The Food & Film Festival will be held on Monday October 7th in our Performing Arts Center 10:00am - 9:00pm, featuring relevant film screenings, booths of local Holistic Health Practitioners, a panel discussion on Food as Medicine, a raffle for food & film prizes, and many other exciting activities. We will have presenters throughout the entire month of October talking about plant-based nutrition, food as medicine, urban gardening, and environmental sustainability concepts to Holistic Health classes and other classes at Ventura College. Our October Event Calendar will be available on the Holistic Health Club's Facebook page by October 1st. Flyers and the event calendar will be handed out on Ventura College campus and around the Ventura community from early September through October. This month-long event will be free to attend for students, faculty and the local community.
