The holidays are coming!!!! And this may be the last dinner meetup of 2013 (I have a brunch place in mind....details to come).
I have tried to eat at Café Polonez on several occasions, but I made the mistake of not making a reservation, and as a result I was too impatient to wait in line. Yes, there is ALWAYS a line when I stop by. Arghhh. That said, I am one those suckers that believes that if there is a line, then it must be good. In fact, I have been known to get in a line just because I had to know what all the fuss was about. I am not kidding, I have lined up with zero clue what it was that I was lining for.
But don't fret my friends, I have finally learned my lesson and got us reservations.
It is never a good idea to look at images of food when you are starving. I want to stick my hand into my computer screen and grab myself a pierogi or 2 or 10.
So here are the deets....
Sandwiches start at $5.25
Most expensive item on the menu is the Roast Duck (Kaczka). You get half a duck stuffed with fruit and slow roasted, served with dumplings and bouquet of salads for $20.25.
On average, most mains are between $13 and $15.
If you RSVP “yes” and change your mind about attending, please update your RSVP.
Those who RSVP “yes” are expected to show up.
You are expected to be at the event on time. In situations where you are late and the restaurant is full, your seat will be given away and not held, so please be on-time.
Attendance will be taken at all events and “no shows” will be tracked.
A person may be removed from the group for repeatedly being a “no show”.
A person who changes their RSVP to “no” with less than 3 hours before the start of an event without a good reason will be considered a “no show”.
A person who just briefly shows up at the event but does not stay at the restaurant for the meal will still be considered a “no show”.
See you soon!!
