3-Course Lunch for $25 at CHIADO. Fancy Schmancy *Winterlicious 2014*

  • February 8, 2014 · 12:00 PM

Winterlicious is upon us, and naturally I had to pick at least one place that I deem to be tempting and delicious,  and yet too expensive to visit on a regular day. The regular price for the appetizer alone is close to the price of the whole meal that you would get for Winterlicious! I browsed through all the expensive restaurants and learned that Chiado, a restaurant that normally does not open before 5pm on weekends, will be opening at noon on weekends only for Winterlicious. In other words, for 1.5 weekends ONLY they will be opening for lunch! After reading all the great feedback on Yelp and Urbanspoon, I knew that I had to make it happen for us!

So what happened???

Come on! You should know me by now! Of course I made it happen!!!!

Dress Code:

In this case, we are gonna have to leave our jeans at home. This restaurant is a little more dressy.

**RSVPs open Wednesday January 15th at 7pm!!! They open later today!!!

Meetup Etiquette:

If you RSVP “yes” and change your mind about attending, please update your RSVP.

Those who RSVP “yes” are expected to show up.

You are expected to be at the event on time. In situations where you are late and the restaurant is full, your seat will be given away and not held, so please be on-time.

Attendance will be taken at all events and “no shows” will be tracked.

A person may be removed from the group for repeatedly being a “no show”.

A person who changes their RSVP to “no” with less than 3 hours before the start of an event without a good reason will be considered a “no show”.

A person who just briefly shows up at the event but does not stay at the restaurant for the meal will still be considered a “no show”.

PLEASE PLEASE tip! Sadly in the past people have not tipped or paid what they owed. I realize that one bill is a pain in the butt and tedious, but with such a large group, this will often be the case. In good faith I am trusting that you will add the tax and tip to your total and pay accordingly. If you are unhappy with an aspect of your meal or service, please let me know in advance so that I can do my best to rectify it with the restaurant. It's rude to not pay what you owe.

See you soon!!!

The food was amazing! I loved the salmon I ordered and the dessert was a perfect ending to the meal.

Just a reminder that you cannot bring a guest. Your guest has to join the group and RSVP like every other member. Thank you!

Hi ! We wanted to meet ppl and try new things as a couple, if you are not open to that, then this activity is not for us.

      January 17, 2014

    • Itanni

Of course you both can come to our events, as long as you each RSVP individually for the events. Spots are very limited and if people bring a guest, then it will throw the numbers off, and often we can't squeeze in another seat because the restaurant is at full capacity.
