Sacred Dome 9550 Haskell Ave. in North Hills (near the I-405 and Nordoff). SUM is an all-denominational, non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and celebrating the truth that exists at the heart of all faith traditions. Keynote speaker for this month?s ceremony is Jim Dreaver with Gino as guest musician.

A native of New Zealand, Jim Dreaver was on a spiritual journey for twenty years before finally waking up to his true nature. He went through the tutelage European Advaita master Jean Klein. He has the gift of being able to swiftly transport people into a state of existence, where they can experience the sense of liberty and love inside them. Jim, who now lives in Los Angeles after many years in northern California, has taught his work at a number of venues, including Esalen Institute.

In addition to his new book, Falling Into Light, he is also the author of End Your Story, Begin Your Life, the revolutionary practice that sets you free; The Way of Harmony (Avon), a practical guide to integrating awakened consciousness into work, relationships and daily life; and The Ultimate Cure: The Healing Energy Within You (Llewellynn), which focuses on accessing the deep spiritual energy that is the source of all healing.

Spending his time as a chiropractic doctor, he also wrote the book Somatic Technique: A Simplified Method of Releasing Chronically Tight Muscles and Enhancing Mind/Body Awareness. This illustrated manual continues to be popular with chiropractors, physical therapists and massage therapists worldwide.

Gino began performing at an early age. She was surrounded by the blues, gospel and musical theater in her native town of St. Louis, Missouri. Her new CD, Check the Mirror, reflects her roots creating the genre of music called SpiritFunknMetalBlues. Gino fast became a lead vocalist and actress in her Catholic School and Christian College. Gino greatly possess the love and passion for music.

Gino started her singing career at the Roxy, Troubador, The Whiskey, Cinegrill, Luna Park and various other prestigious musical venues. She has done tours in Canada, Chicago, Detroit, Laughlin and Las Vegas with her band, Pure Ground. After doing her musical tours, she started to work on doing impersonations of such personalities as Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Queen Latifah and Ella Fitzgerald. She calls her show the Divas of Song, which she brought on tour in the United States and Europe. Of late, Gino appeared at BB King?s Blues Club in Universal City with the Vibe Tribe, and performed her Chicago show at the Stardust Hotel and Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas and the Santa Barbara Jazz Festival.

Gino has had the chance to work with several superb talents such as Ray Charles at the Temecula Film Festival; The Drifters and Ike Turner at the Long Beach Old School Festival; and Mary Wilson at the Lighthouse By The Pier. She has also performed on The Keenan Ivory Wayans Show and the Howard Stern Show. Gino is swiftly becoming the voice of power and passion, performing with the Agape International Choir as one of the lead singers at The Ford Amphitheater, in front of a fully-packed audience.

Gino?s new CD, Check the Mirror, is inspired by love and the musical sound of SpiritFunknMetalBlues. Gino?s mission is to Lift & Shift the World through song and word, in collaboration with Lanny Penny, a songwriter/composer and bass player, and Rhyss Moody of MTO Studios, the sound engineer with the best ears. Together they have come together to create Check the Mirror.

The president of SUM, Patrick Harbula, says that the organization encourages people from all religious and philosophical backgrounds to link together in unified spiritual service through the practice of prayer and meditation. Harbula says, ?Imagine all the religions of the world praying together for world healing and harmony. We are at a crucial time in our planetary history when it is not only possible but essential to go beyond the belief systems that separate various spiritual paths to the heart of spiritual service where we find unity.?
