I LOVE poker!! It's in my blood,.. why do you play?? We have a super nice poker club in Costa Mesa for all types of players: recreational/amateur players. Most of our games are .50/$1 No Limit Cash Games and we mix it up with $1/$2 as well as $20-$40 NLH Tourneys.
Approval to our meetup is instant so check out the calendar and our pics and I am positive you will want to come down and play some great poker.

It took 4.5 years to get really good at poker and running home games. But running home games and playing poker isn't my life's goal. I desire to be one of the greatest players of all time and I am on a journey to discover how that will happen.
Until then I am polishing my poker club to boost the poker player image. I am totally turned off by the typical poker player "degen" and fortunate for my peace of mind, my community, and my friends, our poker club is a beacon for quality human beings that enjoy a friendly game of poker.
But can the poker community do something bigger then itself that is worthy of its existence? I think it can. Poker for Patriots and Community Building is now my mission.
We play poker to raise awareness in our community about important issues. You don't have to be politically connected, or wealthy, or anything.... just be you and share how you feel about our current trends in our nation. That's it.
Sharing input at a poker table (like the old days) is called "interaction" or "dialogue". Way before we started to bury our head in texting, smart phones, youtube, iPods, and ignore the rest of our peers by keeping our headphones on (during play) we actually shared our thoughts. For humor or for wit.
That's why Poker is so special. It brings people together from all over the world! What we discuss at a table is a moment rare between individuals and it should be utilized in home games to build bridges between cultures, races, genders, generations, and understanding.
I play poker because it's in my blood. I love it! But the amenities that come along with this great mind-sport need to be utilized even more and my goal is to use my poker club to bring that awareness to all my players and my community.
Why do YOU play? I would love to hear about it, perhaps at the next game?
