Introduction

I am a first time mom to Louisa, born on March 23, 2011. I am currently staying home with Louisa. We are always up for meeting new people and getting out.

Tell us a little about yourself and your baby!

I used to be a 4th grade teacher in MCPS, but decided to stay home once Louisa was born. I love being at home with her, but definitely need some time around other mommies. Louisa and I both have much better days when we have an activity planned. We are looking forward to meeting other new mommies in the area.

Thanks, Chrissy! Hopefully I will get the chance to meet you soon. It would be fun to meet other moms of 7 month olds, too. It's such a fun age (minus the teeth cutting!). But I'll just be thrilled to meet others period. It's been a pretty lonely 10 months here in MD :)

Hi Chrissy! I was a teacher in Potomac and am taking next year off too. I'm due in two weeks, but I'm looking forward to meeting other teachers who will be staying home next year! Hope to meet you at one of the events soon.
