Have you ever wanted to hold a butterfly AND a beer at the same time? Well you can't, it's not allowed. So how about wanting to check out birds and insects at the nature museum without kids screaming and running all over the place? Well this one IS allowed and you're in luck! You may have heard of adults-only nights with cocktails and activities at the Planetarium and Art Museum, and now you can also do this at the Nature Museum! And they've invited us to join em at their new monthly event.
Nature on Tap features adults-only access to the Nature Museum, including the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven and several of the special temporary exhibits. The night includes a bluegrass performance from the Kodiak Farm Boys and a trivia game testing your knowledge with nature and science themed questions. The winning trivia team will receive the coveted Golden Cockroach trophy!
