This is a group for those of us on a budget during these trying economic times who would still like to enjoy good times, fun activities, and a wide range of events. Our events include casual dining, movies, museums, concerts, fairs and festivals, coffee, walking tours, and more. Keep an open mind, an inquisitive nature, and an adventurous spirit, and try something new. You may be pleasantly surprised!
I will try to find unique, interesting events that may be a first for members...some may be one-time events/annual events, and others may be be ongoing events that can be done throughout the year. There are many free and low cost things to do in this area that are fun, educational, interesting, and enjoyable.
Please agree to abide by the following code of ethics: appropriate behavior (i.e. polite, getting along with other members, respect for others, positive interactions). We function as a group of friends coming together for positive social experiences.
Regarding attendance at events: if you did an RSVP as "Yes" and find you cannot attend, please change your RSVP so others may go in your place, because some of our events have limited spaces and people waiting. Be considerate of others.
A clear facial photo is required for membership so we can recognize you at our events. For security reasons, do not post a photo showing scenery but not you, nor a cartoon, we need a photo of you. Members who sign up will be asked to agree to keep their photos posted for the duration of their membership.
DISCLAIMER: We meet as a group of friends. By way of attendance at our events, members and their guests agree that Fun Frugal Events its organizers and event hosts will not be held liable for any injury/illness while attending the event. Members participate at their choosing and at their own risk and agree to accept responsibility for themselves during events.
