Hey, I offer a free 8 wk beach volleyball class Sun & Wed 9 AM @ Ocean Park Beach Santa Monica. Goal year round after class ends is 4-15 people have a fun challenging workout with talk & laughter. Many wear bathing suit to not overheat even in winter & bring layers to stay warm if its cold to play year round. Join alone or bring 1-2 friends.

Dear Veggie Fonders,

It has been over ten years since I became a vegetarian. Little did I know that the decision I made to become a veggie back in September 2001 would change my life for a better start. I did it solely was out of respect for all living beings. And guess what? This veggie diet has completely cured my stomachache occurred since I was a teenager, decreased my doctor visits drastically, and made me a healthy and energetic person that my friend calls me an energetic bunny! As a result, I am so much happier than I ever thought I could be. Don't we all want to be healthy and happy?

I organize this Meetup Group because I want to get the words out about the benefits of being a veggie and provide information and support to anyone who is interested in trying the vegetarian diet. Many of us were brought up believing that we need to eat meat to stay healthy. However, that is not accurate. It is not the rocky science for us to figure out how the animals grow up fast enough just to supply the demands of the rapidly growing population of men in the world. I think everyone of us owes it to ourselves by giving it a shot to try the V-diet. You will be very surprised to find out more facts about the meat and the true benefits of vegetarianism.

The purpose of this group is for like-minded to hang out, share the info. on how to be a healthy veggie and of course to have lots of fun while eating the delicious V-diet on Fridays & Saturdays. Whether you are a vegetarian or part-time veggie or non-vegetarian, you all are welcome to join us if you like the idea of sharing experience, food and learning more about the benefits of plant-based diet.

This is a group that you can relate to in terms of healthy eating lifestyle. The nutrient info. of different vegetables and fruits has been posted on our message board, please check it out.

Please note that our meetup is "non-for-profit lunch & dinner party". We do not charge our members any fee. [We discourage any solicitations at Meetups but networking is okay].

You only need to pay for the food you order plus tax & tips. I encourage you to join our group and RSVP Yes to our next seven meetups.
