I'm newly divorced and new to travel on my own. I'm looking to meet new, caring people and also visit the city I was born in ( Seattle). Will I be matched with a roommate? Or do I need to find a friend to travel? Thanks

    April 27, 2015

    • Linda

We have 6 of us booked with roommates already so you will have to find a roommate. This is being booked through a travel agent and it is not a tour. If you want to go then sign up and I will send the info to book. Also, the balance is due May 11th so not much time left. We are doing an information final meetup for those who are already signed up and booked to decide final tours.

But, you must see my dilemma - I suppose it is in the realm of possibility for someone to start a meetup and the collect $!

How long might this trip be ? I'm just trying to plan, if I go on the France trip too ( which I really would like to do ), I need to make sure hubby is ok with that much time apart, as he won't go on either trip with me :( . He's a poop ! ;D I like what you have suggested as events, have you thought of a side trip to Butchart Garden on Vancouver Island ? I think it's about a 45 minute ferry ride, if I'm not mistaken. The garden is world renowned for it's beauty. Just a suggestion ;D

      1 · August 27, 2014

    • Barbara

Buchart Gardens are beautiful but it is an all day event so that would limit your time in Seattle. It would work better as a side trip from Vancouver. Then again, the entire Vancouver Island and Victoria would be a nice 3 day trip.
