We are a group of people that enjoy meeting other people so that we can get out and be active together. Members are people that want to be active and want to meet friends that can motivate and encourage them to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Research has proven that friends influence each other's diet and exercise patterns. Are your friends good influences? If so, encourage them to join us! Our target age range is 35-55 but everyone is welcome!
What we mean by "reliable": We hope you will sign up for events that interest you. When you do, the event organizer expects you to attend. Event organizers are volunteers who spend many hours planning events for your enjoyment. Please be responsible enough to change your RSVP if you suddenly find yourself unable to attend. Members that are determined to be "no shows" more than once will be dropped from the group.
For the safety of our event organizers, all members are required to post current pictures of themselves!
If you are interested in helping to organize an activity please contact the organizer. It would be great to have new things to add to our calendar, and it's a great way to meet new friends that share your interest!
When you sign up for MeetUp.com, all members of Meetup must agree to their Terms of Service. Section 5.2 specifically releases the Organizer from any liability related to incidents that occur at Meetup gatherings.
