Meeting people can be one of the most daunting parts of moving to a new city, but discovering what a place has to offer can also be one of the most fun and exciting! Our group aims to both fulfill those goals.
In addition to the must do/see/experience events that our organizers plan, our members also drive our scheduled activities with suggestions of what they'd like to do. In general, we try to plan activities that involve getting to know others whether its through active events like hiking, camping, biking, volleyball, and skiing, etc. or to weekly happy hour events, festivals, movies, dining out, concerts, and sporting events, game nights, barbecues, potlucks and more!
If you have an idea for a meetup please feel free to post in the suggestions area and it will be considered by an organizer to become an official meetup. If you have any suggestions, comments or concerns about the group or anyone you have interacted with while at a meetup please bring any problems to the attention of the organizer by using the "Contact Organizer" link in the toolbar.

As you may have seen on our profiles, Chris and I work in the real estate field and our group's referrals is what pays the group's Meetup semi-annual dues, so please think of us when you or anyone you know has a real estate need and let us know. Planning all these events takes quite some time, so when we get referrals from our community it keeps the ball rolling!
Also, Chris and I know the Phoenix area about as well as anybody could and if you ever have any questions on what to do, where to live, or who to work for please don't be shy to ask. We have acquired much local knowledge that we're happy to share!
