Feed My Starving Children 500,000 Meal Pack

UPDATE:  The 4-6 packing session is full.  If you would like to go on your own.  There are still spots available from 7-9am and 10-Noon.  Just follow the link at the bottom if you would like to register.

Feed My Starving Children is at it again with their Change the World event at the Convention Center in Downtown Phoenix.  This is an incredible organization that operates on donations and volunteers to pack and send meals to starving children across the globe.

Thanks to some generous organizations, 250 slots have opened up to pack Manna Packs to feed starving children in The Philippines. These slots require a $50 which has already been paid. The goal is to pack 500,000 meals in 3 two hour sessions. We will be participating in the 4pm-6pm session, but there are 7am-9am and 1pm-3pm sessions available if you would like to go on your own or with your own group.

Since we are taking up spots that will otherwise be taken by someone else, please do not treat an RSVP as "I may attend". If something comes up, that is understandable, but if so, please update your RSVP as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding.

In addition to RSVPing here, please follow the link to register for the event.  If you would like to provide an additional donation that would be much appreciated.

That was really fun and well-organized and a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! I can't believe we packed 112,536 meals! Thanks for getting us involved.

I didn't register online for the time slot with the group and no more available. That was the only slot I could attend.

I tried to RSVP but the 4-6 time isn't showing. It's the only time I can go that day too.

So glad you are coordinating a group! I am coming from Thomas & 101 in Scottsdale & could take a rider or 2 if anyone wants to carpool.

Hi Just to clarify. Are you needing help from 3:30 to 6pm on the 22nd? I unfortunately work weekends at Scottsdale Health Center from noon to 8:30 but I will see if my 24 year old daughter can help you out. Just confirm with me when you need someone. Thanks, Anna

Yes, the session we are helping at is 4-6pm on the 22nd, but it would be nice to meet everyone ahead of time. That would be great if she would like to join us. Just let me know and have her follow the link in the description to be added to the list.

I am so happy that you guys are doing this. I have volunteered last December in the Tempe location. I wish I could join you but I have a tournament that is scheduled on the same day.
