Stimulated Saturdays

Are you getting too much sleep on the weekends? Need some collective motivation to work on your continuations-based web framework / key-value datastore API / periodic-table browser? Do you want to be an upstanding and productive functional programmer, at least one morning a week? THEN bring your laptop to the coffee shop this Saturday. (If you bring an iPad, I will personally spill a latte on it. Sorry in advance!) We might be working on similar things or even the same things and engage in face-to-face "collaboration". Or it could be more "shut up and code". Either way, your brain is sure to benefit from the concentrated functional energy, and coffee, in the room.

If it weren't for this Meetup it would be 2pm before I was awake and caffeinated and working on my thesis.

I'll be making a simple 2d graphing function for Spde, pass in a function (Double => Double) to graph it. "Should be easy..."

It would take more than coffee to get me excited about the periodic table.
