It's Dojo Time!

The general consensus was a coding dojo next, and a meeting every month, so that's what we're doing!

So we've decided to do the Fractal Forest dojo, you can see details here.

The location is just be confirmed, probably in the same location as last time :)

Wow - a little late, but I just installed Tsunami along-side Visual Studio. The install is quicker :) Does anyone here use Tsunami?

I love that the install generates an F# script that you have to run to configure the IDE. Unfortunately, my tree script crashes Tsunami.

An excellent exercise choice with enough scaffolding in place for a total newb like me, and scope to have fun after getting a basic tree on the screen. Thanks for getting me started!

A great first kata. A hilarious stitch-up which guaranteed some giggles with gloriously visual bugs. I'm being careful not to knock a star off the rating for making me use radians.

Ah. Don't run dev tools directly on the laptop so that might put me in tricky spot. I'll have to have a think.

You're welcome to borrow my laptop with vs on if you like. I was intending to help people with problems anyway

The idea is that the session will be fairly casual, there will be no speaker, but we will work together to try and figure out the Fractal Forest dojo in F#.

I'd advise bringing a laptop, with all the relevant software installed as we won't have internet. You should be able to find the details of how to get up and running with F# on your machine here: http://fsharp.org/use/windows/

It should be a fun session, and hopefully we will all learn something about the language and functional way. If you have any questions then please ask.
