Dave McClure a venture capitalist & the founding general partner at 500Startups, an internet seed fund and startup accelerator program in Mountain View, CA. Dave has been geeking out in Silicon Valley for over twenty years, and has worked with companies such as PayPal, Mint, Founders Fund, Facebook, LinkedIn, SlideShare, Twilio, Simply Hired, O’Reilly Media, Intel, & Microsoft.
Sachin Deshpande is the Director of Business Development, overseeing business
development initiatives across Qualcomm Ventures. Prior to Qualcomm Ventures, Sachin was the co-founder/CEO of Tapioca Mobile (a VC-backed social/mobile video startup sold to Qualcomm). Prior to that, he lead the BREW Developer Relations department at Qualcomm. He also has product management and marketing experience at Openwave, Banyan, and Cisco.
David Lee is currently an angel investor and advisor to various VC's and startups in the US and Asia. David worked at Google from early 2001 to 2006 as the first international executive to lead the sales, operations, and business development efforts in Asia, Europe and Latin America. He formed the first international partnerships, launched many of Google's global offices, and hired the initial key management teams, establishing Google's overseas revenue base.

I was really under the impression that Evernote, Dropbox, and PhoneGap were there to share some of their "startup" experiences, stories from the trenches. Instead each one just did a dog and pony show of their product... something everyone in the room was totally familiar with. The Dolphin girl seemed to think all we wanted to do was drink free beer. No, the meeting missed the mark. :(

The guy sitting next to the moderator wore a distasteful and disrespectful t-shirt in front of a large audience. He thought that he was cool. I think that he is immature to say the least. Having a ton of money does not entitles a person to offend. There is no difference between donning a "Fucking social media ..." t-shirt from one saying: "Gays are sick."
