If you're downtown... Seven Grand is a great bar, Bar 107 and Golden Gopher are great divey bars... I know you want to dance though so check out La Cita but you're better off in Los Feliz/Silverlake if you don't want the clubby scene. If you want that ... anyone in Hollywood.. haha. Have fun!
