It was a blast to talk to adults and play some games. I'm looking forward to more fun!

We had a great time! Good choices on the board games, and the food was perfect. Also, thanks for putting up with our rampaging toddler for the whole night! We'll host one of our own in a few weeks, hope to see you again then.

Thanks for coming. You guys rock! We are really excited for future meetups. It's nice to do something fun and not worry about a sitter.

Hey, just letting you know we'll be there tonight! Anything in particular you want us to bring?

We have a vegetarian friendly bean dip, veggie and a cheese pizza, and salad. We have lemonade and water for drinks so if you would like anything else feel free to bring whatever. Also feel free to bring any games:-)

Sorry.... can't do it because the 4-year old is severely allergic. :-(

We can't attend anymore because we're sick :(

Also, this is a bit of a major side note. If the meetup is at our house. Allergy warning! We have a small dog, big cat, and a rat. They can all be easily quarantined off and the house will be vacuumed for fur/dander.

Thanks for the suggestion. That place actually looks pretty awesome. I'd love to visit there for a future meetup (geeky bingo?). For this first meet and greet we were going to invite everyone to our house. Although, let me check with Colette, the coffee house may win. Part of our goal was to also foster a geek community south of Seattle, since all of the meetups that I'd love to be a part of are always up there. I'll have Colette put up the location very soon.

Wayward Coffeehouse is a good location for this event. See: http://www.yelp.com/biz/wayward-coffeehouse-seattle-2

I played Magic a long long time ago.

We're still trying to learn Magic, but have been playing Ticket to Ride, and Settlers lately. We have some other games we haven't had a chance to play much yet as well.

We play all sorts of games. Although the selection we own is limited. We don't own it, but I'm a big Settlers of Catan fan. We have more traditional boardgames (scrabble, clue) and some less traditional ones. Always open to what others have.

Curious what games you play - can someone share pls ?

I'll have Kurt (husband) and daughter with me. Unless something comes up, we're free to stay and play, although it may involve some tag-teaming.

Kidlet and hubby will be with.

I'm fingers crossed that we might be able to play a game, but ultimately that is dependent on kid and hubby. However, presently plan on attending.

    Hi all,
This is a very low pressure meet and greet. If you just want to drop by to see faces and to talk about future stuff that's fine. If you want to hang around and play some stuff that is cool too.

    Hi Julia,

Look forward to meeting you. We can keep that in mind for the future. I don't think this group will have to meet weekly so scheduling future events can be flexible.

Saturdays are bad for us in general because we run our own family-friendly game night then, but we will cancel for this week.
