To provide a venue where small businesses owners and entrepreneurs in Gwinnett County can network in support of our mutual development and expansion. Our focus will be centered on Growth, Advertisement, Business development and Education through a variety of premier networking events.

The Gwinnett Association of Business Entrepreneurs, although a new meet-up group, began two years ago as the brainchild of a small group of women who wanted to meet new people, build relationships and grow their businesses. Networking is always smart business and it is especially so in today’s economy. Join GABE (pronounced gabby) if you want to learn and share, meet new contacts, give and get referrals and promote your business. It’s all about building relationships so that we all become a great source of information and business for each other.

One of our goals is to showcase and support small businesses in Gwinnett County by encouraging everyone, business owners and consumers alike to “Shop Small”. It’s a proven fact that supporting small businesses boosts our local economies. A much larger percentage of every dollar spent at a small local business stays within that community.

Networking with GABE is always free, relaxed and informal. We do ask that you patronize the establishment where our meetings are held, typically a restaurant. Over the last two years, GABE meetings have been held at several great locations, but for the last few months, Rosebud’s Restaurant and Bar on Sugarloaf Parkway has become our home. We meet on the 4 th Thursday of each month from 6:30 – 8:30pm.

For members who want to showcase their business at a GABE meeting, vendor tables are available for $25. As a featured vendor, you will have 3 minutes to present details about your business to those in attendance as well as share marketing materials or even sell items from your table. Our basic format is 30 minutes of networking, followed by introductions of featured businesses, announcements, door prizes and open introductions of 30 seconds each by business owners in attendance, followed by more networking.
