~Creating GEMS 4 LIFE~
The journey of a woman is enriched through friendships, experiences and services. For such enrichment's, the GEMS of Georgia has been established. SELF, STANDARD, SERVICE AND SISTERHOOD are the foundations of the GEMS of Georgia. As members of this organization, we are committed to becoming the best "SELF" we can be. We have chosen to live a life of quality, involving the highest "STANDARDS" one can set for themselves. We further understand that being of a great "SERVICE" to one another and our community is a privilege, not a choice. There is also an undying, true dedication to strengthening the bonds built between women and the uplifting of "SISTERHOOD". Through all of this, we will develop long lasting friendships, that will enhance our social circle, open our eyes to diverse cultures and enable us to be effective and productive members to our communities. We continue to strive to accomplish this by dedicating time to monthly women celebrations, attending events that encourage diversity and donating our time to volunteering in activities that serve our community.
~WHAT IS A GEM~
A GEM is a woman who lives out of her heart for herself and others. She embodies boldness, creativity, confidence, charisma, courage and grace. She is balanced mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Still embracing humbleness and always open to correction, she values herself, knows her worth and believes in unconditional love. She never wavers in her character, integrity and sincerity. And at the appropriate place/time, she is never afraid to shine her light and always conducts herself accordingly.
The process of SELF, is a life long journey. There are some that have not yet begun this process, others in rough places and many who are perfecting the process of becoming the GEM they were created to be. All are necessary for the continued growth of the GEMS of Georgia.
