Ikat Technique by Anyes Moscrip
Ikat is a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs a resist dyeing process similar to tie-dye on either the warp or weft fibres prior to dyeing. The word ikat is an Indonesian and Malay word means 'tie'. [Source: Wikipedia]
Many Polymer Clay artists have successfully adapted the Ikat look into their works.
Anyes Moscrip, will show us her version & uses of the ikat technique. Once you create your unique blend you'll find so many uses for it in you projects.
As always bring some of your work to show off. We love to see what fellow members are doing!
