Gay Atheists of Washington, D.C. (GAWD) is part of District of Columbia Atheists. It is intended to serve primarily as a social gathering point for gay and lesbian atheists and their friends in the atheist community of the Washington, D.C. area. The group is intended to meet the needs of gay men and lesbian women in the atheist community, but sympathetic freethinkers, regardless of sexual preference or identity, are welcome to join.
