The Pismo Beach Raw Food Meetup has hosted FREE raw food potlucks since February 2011. 

The Pismo Beach Raw Food Potluck Meetup hosts a monthly social "meet & eat". Discover the benefits of raw food for improved nutrition and radiant health in an easy-going, relaxed 'meet & eat' potluck social atmosphere shared with people of like minds and palates. This meetup is open to anyone interested in raw food - folks currently practicing a raw food lifestyle or those who are raw-curious wanting to know more about raw food.Become a member by joining now - you'll receive announcements to all future Raw Food Potluck Meetups and have access to member-submitted recipes and photos from past events. Membership is FREE and open to anyone.

There's big news and cool stuff planned for 2012 - our Meetup now has a new permanent location at Harmony House Yoga. Kelly Metcalf, owner, has opened her heart and her doors! All future raw food potlucks will be hosted at Harmony House Yoga on Price Street in Pismo Beach. And, Harmony House Yoga and Raw Food Betsy are have partnered up to bring you a different "changing the way America eats" food movie every month to be paired with each raw food potluck. 

For those of you newbies - There are just three things you need to know to attend your first raw food potluck.

FIRST - you need to bring a home-made 100% organic, raw, plant-based food dish to share with others. It can be as simple as a bowl full of organic snap peas or strawberries, or as complex as a raw eggplant parmesan or decedent raw dessert.

SECOND - provide a copy of your raw food dish recipe. You got the compliments - now everyone wants your recipe! Betsy will post your recipe on the "PAGES" page @ http://www.meetup.com... for members access only. You may provide a written copy of your recipe at the potluck, or email your recipe to Betsy@rawfoodbetsy.com. Be sure to list each of your ingredients (including the quantities for each) and provide any necessary directions to make it. 

THIRD - bring your own plate, utensils, napkin and beverage to every potluck.

That's it. Three simple things to keep our Meetup costs to a minimum and our members motivated with new raw food recipes!
