Talk about Wearscript!

Learn about using Javascript on Google Glass with Wearscript from one of the developers, Scott Greenwald

Wearscript ( is an Apache 2.0-licensed platform for Glass development that combines:
(1) an HTML5 API on Glass for accessing native functionality such as timeline management and sensors

(2) a web-based IDE that can dynamically load code straight onto Glass(es)

(3) a sharing platform for scripts (

The philosophy is that because context-aware wearable computing needs to be sufficiently customized to achieve maximum usability and utility, rapid prototyping is particularly important and powerful in the development workflow. Sharing of scripts allows everyone to quickly benefit from and extend others' scripts to suit their own purposes.

Scott Greenwald is a Phd student in the Fluid Interfaces group at the MIT Media Lab and a member of the team. He researches design considerations for mobile just-in-time information, from the perspectives of social and psychological phenomena.
