Tell us your Google-related usage or development background

Nothing specific about Android or Java. I have tons of experience in C, Perl, Bash, and many assembly languages.

What is your favorite app? (web, android, etc.)

I don't have my Nexus 7 here to look at and can't remember the app name, but it is the GPS radar app that displays info from all the sensors built into the Nexus 7.

What would you most like to learn or share at the Google Developers Group?

Need to talk to developers to get a sense of what is 'usual and customary' in the Android world. Which tools people like and dislike. Get little more up to speed with Android lingo.

Retired software engineer. Longtime linux user/developer. Now intererested in Android. I have a few ideas for a new class of apps....
