Because we have so many on the waiting list, we are opening a second session on the same day. Thank you, Trish!
Study the effect of scale with a teeny tiny microbuild. Using just a few pieces, the participant will create tiny vehicles and a tiny building. LEGO minifigs are giants in this realm! Includes a take home vehicle and building kit.
Note from Trish: This is going to be so much fun! In addition to a tiny automobile and a tiny plane... there will be a group build of a micro-building.
I have found an image of a building that is multi-story and very unusual in shape. The participants will each use the building for inspiration, and create some part of the building - they will adjust the colors to their own tastes. The tricky part will be trying to put the parts together at the end into a fantastical, one of a kind micro-building!
There will be a bit of commerce and each child will be provided with a series of certificates which can be exchanged for pre-packaged parts of various colors and shapes.
It should be huge fun! I am so looking forward to this!
Note: This class is at Resurrection Lutheran, 1900 E. Carson (at Cherry)

Her projects include sewing projects (softies and ugly soft creatures with eyes that glow), mechanical experiences, electronics with the Arduino - a robotics computing platform and LEGO bricks, a creative medium that she loves!
This is a drop-off class if parent and child are comfortable. Parent may stay to help and/or observe.
To sign up one child, RSVP as yourself; to sign up two children, RSVP +1, etc.
