Students will be introduced to fundamental programming concepts using Scratch, a graphical programming language developed at MIT. Students will create their own games, animations, and various interactive projects using block-like puzzle pieces containing code that they can then upload and share with the MIT Scratch community.

This is a drop-off class if parent & child are comfortable.  As always, parents are welcome to sit in and observe the class.

Ms. Victoria Rivett has a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Hawaii, an M.A. in Educational Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco, a second M.A. in Elementary Teaching from Western Governors University, and holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. From a young age, Victoria pursued her art studies in studio locations such as the Laguna Beach College of Art and Design (formerly Laguna Beach Art Institute). She has created innovative art programs for private schools, summer camps and taught drawing lessons online for an art company. Victoria currently is a board member, studio director and art instructor at the Orange County Fine Arts.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
