Let's head South of London once more for a very nice hike crossing three counties: Hampshire, Surrey & West Sussex.
We'll follow a 9 mile route from Liphook in Hampshire to Haslemere in Surrey. The route has plenty of ups and downs as we pass through lots of woodlands and tiny villages. At the halfway point we'll arrive in the village of Fernhurst where we'll stop for lunch on the village green and a quick drink in the local pub.
After lunch we'll head slowly uphill towards Haslemere cleverly avoiding the steep slopes of Black Down and all the mud that we experienced on one of our previous hikes.
We'll finish the hike at the Swan pub in Haslemere where we can enjoy some well earned food and a drink or two in front of a very inviting log fire.
We'll meet at Waterloo station at 10:15 and take the train to Liphook at 10:45, arriving at 12:00. We should arrive in Haslemere at the end of the hike around 17:00.
The price of the hike is £14.65. This covers:
- Organiser's fee of £4
- Group save return ticket to Liphook (£10.65)
There are 36 places for people travelling on group save tickets from Paddington.
There are 4 places for people travelling independently to Liphook by car or from a different station. If you'd like to take one of these places, send me an email and I'll add you to the list. In this case you'll just need to pay the organiser's fee on the day.
If you can't make it anymore, change your rsvp to 'no' and if someone takes your place you'll receive a full refund to you Paypal account. If nobody takes your place you won't get a refund.
