We will be working with WHEAT (World Hunger Education, Advocacy & Training) to help them in the event, Spruce Up our Clothes Silo for Spring. The minimum age with an adult is 6 years old.
Please wear comfortable clothing, your GIVE shirt and close toed shoes. We will start promptly at 8 am. The day begins with a brief overview of the WHEAT organization by their Executive Director & CEO and the day will end with an optional tour of our Center for Success and Fair Trade Store all on site.
We will be helping them "turn over" their clothing boutique from winter clothing to spring, creating window and mannequin displays, organizing and outfitting the store. WHEAT's Clothes Silo provides over 6,000 women with free, professional clothing, each year, in partnership with 117 social service agencies. We will help them create a warm and inviting space in this important piece of our women's empowerment program.
WHEAY will provide beverages and snacks. It should be a fun and worthwhile experience.
Thanks!

This was a great event! WHEAT is an awesome organization with a very worthy cause. We had a great time helping them spruce up the boutique to get ready for fall. Jamie and I had so much fun styling the manequins for their display window! I think we missed our calling as wardrobe stylists. :-)

Yes, I can meet you. I am in the Chandler area today, so let me know a good place to meet up from where you are coming from.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
