WB-GNO consists of a group of gal pals (average range 35 to 55+) who meet to have low key fun times, including: movies, in-home get-togethers, wine tastings, tapas, dinners, lunches, breakfasts, spa parties, meetup for shopping and drinks, game nights, etc.
This is a mostly group of single, fun, heterosexual, and outgoing women. The idea is to form both temporary and more long-lasting friendships. We love men, but face it --- sometimes you just gotta let your hair down, come as you are, and just have fun. No judgment!
Leave your baggage at the door, and join us for food, drink, fun, real conversation and authentic friendship. Be forewarned - nothing is sacred with this group. We may be ladies, but we can swear like truck drivers, tell crude jokes, talk openly about dating and sex, leer at men, and act like tom-boys on occasion. So, if you are expecting the "Mayberry Thursday Afternoon Tea" Forget About It!
Note: if you are married, or otherwise involved with a significant other and want to join that's not a problem.
NOTE OUR STRICK RSVP POLICY: For events scheduled over 1 week in advance you will always receive email announcements, and will sometimes be asked to 'comfirm your attendance at that time'; the organizer always has the right to cancel your RSVP if you fail to 'confirm your RSVP' as requested. In cases where you are not asked to confirm your RSVP, you can cancel your RSVP within 12 hours of an event. Anyone who RSVP's for an event and then does not actually attend that event will be BLOCKED from attending future events until we speak over the phone or via email.
REASON for STRICK RSVP POLICY: Too many times people fail to show up and it is unfair to the orgainzers, assistant organizers, the other members who are on a waiting list, and the proprietors of businesses. Many meetup members have a very lazy and laxed attitude about RSVPs and don't honor their commitments. I personally don't understand becaue this is NOT a virtual community. It's a live and in person community; not cancelling and not showing up is simply NOT acceptable.
