I enjoyed reciting the "Pledge of Allegiance", which I remember from elementary school. It always gave me a feeling of hope and wonderment, knowing that i was a part of this country. Children should be saying that from preschool on up -- it instills pride and virtue in us. Thank you!

This was a GREAT meeting, and I feel very recharged and motivated to keep up the good fight, for our... Liberty!! A phenomenal group of Patriots were in attendance, and I always enjoy learning new stuff, and being in the company of like-minded Americans. All of the speakers were awesome, and I particularly enjoyed the superb speech by Louisiana State Senator Elbert Guillory. That's the kind of talk that brings tears to my patriot eyes!

Enjoyed the festivities and it was so much fun without the RAIN, Rep. Guillory gave a flag waving speech which was really enjoyable. And his talk about freedom was moving. So glad he visited, as well as the other speakers who gave us terrific information and inspiration to continue on with our fight to save our Nation. There are so many who give so much and I enjoyed meeting the Worker Bees...they are so appreciated, more than they know. Being around like minded Patriots is like taking a One a Day vitamin for the Heart and Soul...and the real food was good, too. One cannot live on Soul Food Vitamins alone! The jambalaya was a stick to the ribs delight. The whole spread was yummy and I can vouch for the wonderful flavor just about every dish sitting on those tables. And every cookie, brownie and cherry pastry, too. The Red,White and Blue glow from the colorful balloons added so much to the mood...Good Job everyone! And thanks for the sound system. Let's roll! Linda & Walter Cook

Patsy, in the beginning I ignored Common Core because I don't have kids in school. Then I realized that this IS the future of our republic. CC is circumventing parental rights and states rights and indoctrinating our children to become "useful idiots" and good WORLD citizens. CC is a part of Agenda 21 and has been trying get established for a very, very long time. It is not about standards or curricula...rather it is about CONTROL - just like Obamacare is not about healthcare...it too is about CONTROL. Total control will just be easier if the children are conditioned to accept it. If allowed to be established, it will be near impossible to eradicate because the powers behind it are not even elected officials who we can vote out.

It was very interesting listening to a retired teacher( who is a Democrat no less) speak against Common Core. Not having children, this will not affect me, but I have seen it in action, since I tutor at a local school sometimes. It was good to have the support of so many groups throughout La.

My Art class is every Tuesday evening, therefore I will not participate in the festivities. Also class is the reason I am not able to make the regular Tuesday evening meetings. Enjoy the party; the food sounds delicious. We are blest to be citizens of the greatest country. This club and its people work diligently to keep it THE BEST!!!! Thanks to all.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
