WAKE UP AMERICA...... IS YOUR "ALARM" WORKING?????

PATRIOTS:  Do you ever feel like politicians, the media, the "left" , and just regular citizens don't "get" our message???  Ever feel like they evade your questions or distort what you are saying??? Come to our August meeting for professional tips on communicating, framing your questions or comments, and getting ANSWERS!!!

COMMUNICATING OUR MESSAGE IS IMPERATIVE IN THE FIGHT TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY AND IN WINNING THE NOVEMBER 6 ELECTION !!!

Professional speaker, CPA and GNOTP sponsor, Joe Liss, will provide a presentation on how we as attendees of Town halls and sources for media contacts, can best get our points across and leave the impressions we intend. Joe’s presentation will better prepare you, to present in an effective and less polarizing manner, which is especially important this campaign year as we must make every attempt to influence our neighbors, business associates and the general population against the dangers of the reelection of Barak Obama. The presentation will use video driven examples of effective and in-effective speakers along with an interactive Q & A from present members.

Awesome meeting. There was a good attendance with some new members joining in. Joe Liss's Presentation in dealing with approaching polititians at Town Hall Meetings was great and I advise that we schedule further meetings with him. Thank you Mary for your special Prayer. You and Terri have been working so hard for many years to make Our GNOTP one of the most informed sources that belivers of Liberty and Freedom can rely on.

I gave it a five-star even though I wasn't there- REALLY WANTED TO BE, BUT .

Big News! Today's Rasmussen poll shows our own Josh Mandel, candidate for Ohio Senate running against Dem. incumbent Sherrod Brown is (drum roll, please) TIED!
Now, this was a WAY LONG shot - and now TIED! Now I feel confident of a Republican majority in January. Makes it even more important to be prepared for the Lame Duck session in November. (The plan is percolating!) Donie

This meeting was very informative. I learned alot during this session and can't wait for the next Meet-up. The guest speaker was great and I can't wait to hear him speak again.

Very informative. I got the message, keep it short and to the point, with a yes or no answer if possible.

Great meeting. Enjoyable. Educational and look forward to more. I realize you have a limited chance to get your point across to politicians and being prepared and focused is a huge plus. Thank you Joe for your research and pointers. Looking forward to the Saturday workshop.

Joe (the speaker) was AWESOME!!!! Thank you Joe! I learned I'm a cheerleader (sometimes an angry or/and 'emotional' one since I have felt the pain 1st hand for almost 4 years by this administration - Ha!). Need to work on cooling it down!!! Of course already new that but it's always nice to keep hearing in different ways.

Joe Liss had a GREAT presentation. I think this is something we should re-visit. I was glad to see so many new faces. Hopefully more people will Wake Up as the elections near.

Excellent meeting!! Mary's opening invocation was very profound, followed by a FANTASTIC presentation by Joe Liss, on how to ask questions at Town Halls and meetings with your elected officials. Then Terri gave a short, but informative overview of how to use the GNOTP Meetup.com site.

Sorry we missed the Meeting you are having as I write. Walter was definitely coming and all of a sudden it was 6:30 and he is walking the dog and FORGOT to come...and because we have bookend memories lately, I just realized he walked the dog instead of going to the Celebratory event! He wanted to take pictures. The memory banks are gone with the geese! Hope you are having fun and everyone is in a joyous mood. See the Kelly Tea Party cartoon today? Great one.

About calling the senators: we must add Claire McCaskill, Missouri. We have been handed a winning issue on a silver platter - if we call the Dem. senators Terri listed (and McCaskill) they will be really on the spot to either support or repudiate Harry Reid. They can evade - but that takes us to the next step - get the Republican senators to make public statements calling on their Dem. colleagues to repudiate. Then the voters in their state should ask them, at every opportunity, if they support or repudiate. Either way is a lose-lose for them - and either way is a win-win for us. This should keep up busy for a few days. Before long, we have to start thinking about driving the Dem. senators crazy before the Lame Duck.

    Way to go, Terri!
