CHARTER SCHOOL - Education
Begin reading anything by Charlotte Iserbyt and watching her videos. Charlotte served in the Reagan administration. Her story is an unbelievable story of courage and love of education. Her son has a website that is loaded with all kinds of great documents if you are looking for a document to support your passion.
There is a big push for Charter Schools and many think they are just the best to ever come down the pike but they are VERY WRONG.
There is truly only one solution for our education system and that is to take the first major step to start the journey and put education back on the right track.
That is to shut down the federal Department of Education. We have handed over the education of our children to the government (which is what they wanted………this is the only way they could get away with indoctrinating our youth)
Parents need to get engaged.
They need to stop handing over the care and education of their children to other people.
So first we take back education to the state level.
Here is some good education about Charter Schools and why they are not all they are cracked up to be.

Charter School corruption. Charter Schools ARE NOT THE ANSWER FOLKS!!! Just another band-aid that in 20 years we will be realizing the mistake we made.
Long, long ago, in a land not so far away....
1958 Book - The Naked Communist - outlines Communist Party goals
#17 Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
1965 - The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) is passed as a part of President Lyndon B. Johnson's "War on Poverty" and has been the most far-reaching federal legislation affecting education ever passed by Congress. The act is an extensive statute that raids the U.S. treasury and funds primary and secondary education, while explicitly forbidding the establishment of a national curriculum.
1979 - The United States Department of Education is signed into law by President Jimmy Carter and began operating on May 4, 1980 even though opposed by many in the Republican Party, who saw the department as unconstitutional, arguing that the Constitution doesn't mention education, and deemed it an unnecessary and illegal federal bureaucratic intrusion into local affairs. The Dept. of Education develops and implements education policies that the local schools agree to implement when federal dollars are accepted.
Since 1980 the federal government - through the Dept. of Ed. - has implemented programs which have intentionally (or unintentionally if you want to believe that the feds had good intentions) "dumbed down" our students. Proof is the large number of "dropout factories" with graduation rates below 60 percent.
(Most recently, No Child Left Behind was responsible for additional declines - NOT higher standards - in educational standards. States groveled to Obama to receive a waiver from these standards. Georgia included.)
So..... naturally, parents fled public schools to place children in private schools or to home school their children.
But, many considered this an unfair advantage because too many families couldn't afford this option. So to the rescue!.....
CHARTER SCHOOLS are allowed by the states to offer a publicly funded alternative and they are approved by the local school boards.
These schools have less restrictions placed on them by the local, state, and federal governments. These schools are governed by an unelected board, NOT the local school board.
So, while the taxpayers fund these schools, they have no say in how they are run.
While there are reports that some of these charter schools don't perform any better than the public schools, or are run by non-U.S. organizations (The Gulan Schools - Turkish Muslim), most parents are happy with the charter schools their children attend..... for now.
But, this leaves a lot of children still struggling in under performing schools.
Common Core national standards - being implemented in our schools could be the final nail in the coffin for ALL our public schools.
Some states are starting to push back against these standards as teachers and parents realize this curriculum is not what it was touted to be.
If school systems don't act quickly, they will find that they are unable to get out from under this (unconstitutional) nationalized curriculum.
Now, two endings to this story....
Possible ending #1: THIS IS HAPPENENING IN GEORGIA....
THE FINAL STEP NEEDED TO ACHIEVE THE COMMUNIST GOALS: Local school systems convert completely to SPECIAL STATE CHARTER SYSTEMS and lose all oversight through an elected school board. (16 Georgia school districts have already done so enticed with additional funding) For those school districts that push back on charters, the state government (with the enticement of additional education dollars from the federal government) will have the ability to begin replacing ALL public schools with STATE CHARTER schools. The only way this can happen is with an amendment to our Georgia Constitution. These special STATE charter schools will receive almost twice as much state dollars as the other public schools.
So, with the desire for their children to have a better educational option, these parents with students in failing schools will BEG the state to fill their school districts with STATE CHARTER schools - even when their elected school boards understand the intent and refuse to allow the charters.
Although, with the lure of twice the state funding, many school boards with see it as the best alternative. With the passage of the charter amendment for special state CHARTER schools, this will be easily done.
The parents won't understand or won't care that they will forever lose total control of their children's education due to no longer being able to vote out those who control the schools.
The community will soon realize that the charter schools are no longer better than public schools because the same curriculum and standards from the feds will be imposed now, and there is nothing that can be done. In fact, we may find that the charters become less of an academic institution and more "a child labor training factory" for the local industry job needs under our new socialist society.
BUT now, even though public tax funds are still going to these schools, the community will have no voice to make changes.
Possible ending #2: We are successful in having our governor rescind the Common Core national standards. Our state agrees to stop accepting federal education dollars until such time as a conservative/constitutionalist congress eliminates the Department of Education.
Parents and the community take back complete control of our local schools and curriculum and ALL students - for the first time in decades - start getting the high standards education they deserve.
With total LOCAL control once again, students, along with their parents, can CHOOSE an academic education which leads them to college (without needing to take remedial college courses in language arts and math), or vocational training - via a LOCALLY designed career academy.
Which ending will we choose?
COMMON CORE EDUCATION (coming to your city if not already there)
COMMON CORE IS HERE IN LOUISIANA TO BE FULLY IMPLEMENTED IN 2014
CAN WE STOP THE COMMON CORE... THE FEDERAL TAKEOVER OF CURRICULUM... YES! WE CAN.
GIVE OUR CONSERVATIVE REPRESENTATIVES THE SUPPORT TO STAND STRONG AGAINST A POWERFUL PUSH BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
Here is a good website put together by a group that one of our members belongs to
Georgia along with Utah is doing great work.
It has some great information and educational handouts for your community. Start educating people now because this is the new wave in education.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON THIS SITE.
When you are done you will have a complete understanding of this complex issue.
There are many people that will benefit from these programs.
Some will benefit by advancing their AGENDA for the 21st Century, and others will benefit by an increase in their bank accounts.
But the parents nor the children will benefit.
We need to get back to basics. We need to get back to education when education was good in America. What made it good back then? Then lets get back there. And the government is not the answer IT IS THE PROBLEM.
Here are the links from the website above for handouts and educational material for your community. A few neighborhood flyer blitzes is a good way to get your group out in the fresh air and to provide a great community service.
Federal Regionalism (Thanks Neil R) I am sure you will find this to be very informative. I highly recommend you look into the EO from Nixon that created the 10 regions. I live in Region IV and the capitol of my region is Atlanta, GA. It is ALL about transportation. They cannot complete the regional plan without the transportation grid to connect the regions together. Anyone attempting to live outside the transportation grids will find their property to be worthless.
Here is a website from my collection on this subject - Nixon and his Metro Regions
And lets not forget America 2050
US High Speed Rail Map. Click in the year at the bottom of the map and you will see the grid plan during each year posted.
GNOTP thanks the National Agenda21 Coalition for putting out this information....
