"It is more blessed to give than to receive"...that pretty much sums up the purpose of this group. This is a bit of an experiment, the power of the group will rely on the heroes that join, and the great things we can do together.

This group's aim is to help out where we can...sounds simple, well...there are many good people out there that would love to lend a helping hand...there is no greater joy than devoting your energy to a good cause. So instead of volunteer red tape, this group will seek out opportunities to help those in need, without the hassle of long term commitments, long forms...or long waits for administrators to get back to you.

The meetups will be sought out (and hopefully recommended by the members), and we'll judge how many people we need...and then "Go Do Good"....If you've ever wanted a purpose in life....selfless acts of kindness is a great start! The group will focus on those in need, charities, food drives, etc...but if there are group members that need some dirt moved...who knows, if enough heroes come to the rescue...we can do ANYTHING!

Of course, what is a good time without some good socializing, so I look forward to many good times before, during and after these meetups! Hope to see you soon!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
