Start and finish St Paul's Cathedral we will pick up bikes at one of the many docking stations nearby

Bike Hire Boris bike are £4 for 1 ½ hrs. You can pay at any docking station with a debit card and return the bike to any empty docking station.(If you don't want to hire you can bring your own bike.)  http://www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/cycling/14808.aspx

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

About the ride and walk Cycle to Island gardens where we dock the bikes walk through the Greenwich foot tunnel  to Greenwich park have lunch pick the bikes up and return via the Southbank. Duration 1hr cycling, 1/2hr walking, Lunch, 1/2hr walking, 1hr cycling. Total duration including lunch approx 4hrs

This leisurely ride will take us along Cannon street to Monument where we will pick up the river Thames. We will cycle along the river passing the Tower of London with a short detour to look around St Katharine’s Dock. Continuing past Wapping, Shadwell and Canary Wharf to Island gardens. Here we will dock the bikes. Continuing on foot across the river using the Greenwich foot tunnel, past the Cutty Sark and through Greenwich Park to the Royal Observatory where we will stop for lunch. (if the weather is bad we will look for an alternative)

We pick the bikes up again and Return along the river following the Southbank with a short detour into Greenland dock and Russia dock woodland then past the HMS Belfast to London Bridge and St Paul's.
