Hey Everyone. I wanted to post this so we could put together several teams and play for a cause!! Hundreds of children in Kensington, Philadelphia, and Camden, NJ are depending on volunteers and donations to be able to play soccer every week. In an effort to connect the Philadelphia and New Jersey soccer communities, Kensington Soccer Club (KSC) and Camden Youth Soccer Club (CYSC) are calling all soccer players (18+) to participate in a unique one day only 3v3 soccer tournament. The tournament will take place on the scenic fields of Rutgers Camden, underneath the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, overlooking the Philadelphia skyline. The proceeds of this tournament will be applied to basic needs like water and material to keep the cost for the children to play minimal.
The Building Bridges with Soccer Fundraising Tournament will be held August 11, 2013, at Rutgers-Camden soccer field at N. Front and Linden Street, from 12 midday to approximately 5pm. Parking is free. Public Transport close by – Ride Patco to Camden City Hall
