Chandler Science Cafe: Diamonds From Space

Please join us Wednesday, May 7, 2013, 7pm, Gangplank, for Chandler Science Café at Hack Night for the return of our guest Laurence Garvie, Center for Meteorite Studies, for a casual conversation about Arizona geology, meteorites and diamonds from space.

Science Cafés are live—and lively—events that take place in casual settings, are open to everyone, and feature an engaging conversation with a scientist about a particular topic. Chandler Science cafe is presented in association with the Arizona SciTech Festival.

Dr. Garvie, Research Professor and Collections Manager, Center for Meteorite Studies, Arizona State University, studies the physical and chemical processes that shaped our Solar System.
