The book we're going to talk about in August is "The Little Prince" by Antoine De Saint-Exurery. We came upon this book from the idea "Let's talk about a book that everybody's read." Everybody meaning the collective everybody. This book got the most oohs and aahs and, to our surprise, most of us vaguely remember reading it a few decades ago or not at all. Perhaps shining a light on our inability to meet goals, but which ought to be forgiven in this case.
Reading it again after 20 years or for the first time restores your faith in mankind, or at least, childkind. Which, we should point out, all of us were at one time (we are all very smart in the book club).
