What are your favorite programming languages?

C++, Fortran; CUDA, OpenMP, Cilk Plus

What GPU applications are you interested in?

My research interest is in Engineering Mechanics (numerical methods, non-linear finite element analysis, elasto-plastic models). Most recently, I have been developing constitutive relations for soft granular matter. I am particularly interested in frictional matter and critical state materials.

Rate your experience with heterogeneous programming

4 years teaching CUDA to applied degree and diploma students

What is your primary occupation?

Professor - C, C++, CUDA Programming, Parallel Programming

I teach GPU and parallel programming courses at Seneca@York Campus. I have a long-term research interest in modeling the mechanical behavior of soft granular matter and adapting Finite Element software to many-core GPU and multi-core CPU processing.
