Did anyone really dislike the Coursera course? I followed along for the first bit but I don't think I'm going to continue. I found the lectures to not be very helpful. I did buy the book so maybe one day I'll work through that?

Interesting! Have a glance at my own course notes - they're based on the first edition of the book - and cover much of the material plus more

It's possible my difficulty could have come from the fact that i'm a little bit of a no0b on the subject? I did find the book much easier to follow along with though.
