OpenCL is a non vendor specific solution for massively parallel multi-core CPU, APU, GPU, DSP, and FPGA technologies.

TI has just released a video on their multi-core DSP running OpenCL. This is an exciting development.

The video features a lot of information about their DSP chip above and beyond running OpenCL.
